Hijacker Camper Jack ORing Rebuild Parts List

Over the weekend we were rebuilding the Hijacker Camper Jacks on our camper. Since Hijacker has gotten out of the camper jack business, the rebuild kits are tough to find. We were in NAPA (Canada) and managed to size replacement o-rings that seem to do the trick. The product codes for the replacement o-rings are:

NAPA Part Number Hijacker Part # Description
DYN-54112 HJ-111 STATIC O-RINGS 1/2″ ID
DYN-54012 HJ-112 CHECK VALVE / PAC END O-RING 7/16″ ID
DYN-54008 HJ-114 RELEASE VALVE O-RING 3/16″ ID
DYN-54011 HJ-121 PLUNGER O-RING 5/16″ ID

Thanks for the info but those napa part numbers dont work. Napa told me all their oring are 7 digit part numbers. You dont have any other part numbers do you?

Searching for the part numbers (Just the numeric part) on http://www.napacanada.com returns results. Remember this is for Napa Canada only – I have no idea how the part numbers work in the US.

I am trying to fix a hijacker jack, Ive paid someone try and fix it. But apparently when I over extended the jack it destroyed the packing nut. Apparently its an unusual thread on this jack. No suppliers left in NA, Im told. Anybody have any ideas. I am also in BC

    Hey, thanks for posting this!
One of my hijackers was leaking hydraulic oil from the valve, and the guy at the RV shop was saying the whole thing was toast.

I just replaced the o-ring with the part number from Lordco. Total cost, less than $1. Labor. half an hour, including beer time.

    It’s now working perfectly!!!!
Thanks for posting this great resource!!!!!

I went to Lordco in Cranbrook, British Columbia with the list of o-rings specified, and the salesman at the counter had no problem finding the replacements. I went home, replaced the o-rings and all is well. Thanks for the great information, it was very helpful, especially since Hi-jacker is no longer in business and the maintenance kits are no longer available.

    Hi folks,
I seem to have purchased hijacker camper jacks as the company was leaving the industry and as many of you I am trying to rebuild a jack. My question is, How is the spring and ball bearing held in place within the cartridge?
